Little
is known about the Beatles' cassette and 8-track cartridge releases, except
for the following: All of the British cassettes were released on November
19, 1987, except for Sgt. Pepper, which was previously released on the
XDR tape on June 1. The U.S. versions were released on October 31, 1987.
At the bottom of this section you will see the Beatles cassette boxed
sets. The individual album cassettes and the boxed sets were both released
on the same days in their respective countries. You also will see continued
repetition and similarities between the catalog numbers here and the ones
on the LPs. There are some loop holes in this section, such as the the
release of A Hard Day's Night on cassette in the U.S. non-existent and
8-track cartridge info in the UK not-available. Nonetheless, this section
is essential to the Beatle discography. Please
